Does StreakForge require an account?
No. StreakForge is 100% local — no account, no backend, no network calls (except RevenueCat for purchase validation). All your habits, streaks, XP, and badges are stored on your device via AsyncStorage.
How does the XP system work?
Each habit completion earns base 10 XP, plus a streak bonus of up to 50 XP (1 XP per streak day, capped at 50). So a habit on a 30-day streak earns 40 XP per completion. Undoing a completion subtracts the XP — but your level never goes down.
What are streak freeze tokens?
Premium users receive 3 freeze tokens each month. When you miss a scheduled day, a "Use Streak Freeze?" banner appears on the habit row the next time you open the app. Tapping it marks the missed day as frozen and keeps your streak intact — at zero XP cost.
How many habits can I track for free?
Up to 3 active habits. When you try to add a fourth, the paywall is triggered. All gamification features — XP, levels, streaks, badges, and push notifications — are fully available on the free tier.
Will my data be lost if I delete the app?
By default yes — data is local-only. Premium users can export a full JSON backup from Settings and restore it at any time, so you're never locked out of your history.
